• Student: 2 children, 4 and 7 years old

• Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Lake Carolina region)

• Preferred start date: ASAP

• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

• Availability: Monday or Tuesday from 3:30 pm or later

• Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week

• Lesson Duration: 45 minutes each child

• Current level: Beginner

• Native/other languages: German

• Goals:

  • Engage in learning through games

  • Begin practicing simple conversations

• Interests: Playing on the playground

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive, play-based English lessons suitable for a young child

• Focus on vocabulary building through games and daily activities

• Encourage confidence in speaking and initiating simple conversations

• Adapt lessons to the child’s age and interests

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in English

• Certificate or degree in early childhood education, language teaching, linguistics, or related field

• Experience teaching young children (preschool/early elementary age)

• Ability to create fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons
