Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German Language Teacher to provide customized lessons to children in Mexico city (Polanco)

Job Information:

Class number: 184705
Students: a 15-year-old child
Availability: Tuesday, Thursday 4 pm-8 pm
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson frequency: Twice a week
Lesson length: 1 hour
Students' location: Lessons should be held at the client´s place in Mexico City (Close to Parque America, Polanco)
Native language: Turkish
German Language level: Advanced
Students' language needs and goals: To get a C1 German Certificate focusing on Grammar and Writing. The lessons should be structured with clear targets for each lesson, teacher preparation, goal setting, and progress according to the goals set by her family. The lessons should focus on building vocabulary, grammar, and common phrases native speakers use every day, sharing feedback and opinions, writing, conversations with native speakers, and listening comprehension tips and strategies.
Additional information: Her interests are Swimming, piano, drama, movies, and physiology . Her family moved from Germany to Mexico. She is not using the German language anymore. She would like to keep her German level and to improve to get a C1 certificate.

Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

Written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of teaching experience
Experience teaching children is a must
