German language teacher in Luxembourg

Job Information:

C183104 Position details: Face-to-face German class for a female employee

• Location: Student's home [near Colmar Parc, 7750 Colmar Colmar-Berg]
• Schedule: Thursday 4-8pm and Sunday 8 am- 4 pm
• Preferred start date: ASAP 
• Lesson Frequency: 2x week
• Lesson Duration: 45 minutes
• Current target language level: High-beginner/low-intermediate level (approx) Would like the teacher to assess her level
• Language spoken at home: Croatian, English C2, Slovenian C2
• Student’s language needs and goals: Want to improve communication level & become confident to use it in business communication and private life. Current: Listening & writing approx. somewhat above beginner level, speaking NOK. Would like to have structured lessons that follow a plan that is explained at the start or end of the class. Expects the teacher to include regular feedback on weak points, to have focus for practice & improvement on my own in addition to official lesson plan.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
