German language teacher in Luxembourg

Job Information:

Face-to-face German for two siblings, aged 6 and 3 ---Separate classes, one after the other
Location : students' home [Rue du Château, 6961 Senningen Niederanven]

• Availability : 2 x week for 45 minutes (Tuesday and Thursday afternoon)
• Preferred start date: March
• Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
• Lesson Duration: 45
• Current target language level: kindergarten
• language spoken at home: Portuguese
• Student’s language needs and goals: To be able to comfortably communicate in German and integrate in school and society once she relocates without feeling odd or excluded. To be able to understand the cultural side of the language
• Additional information: She goes to a school in German and she is being taught in German. She has taken an exam in the school for the 1st grade. The school is taught completely in German.

• Student’s language needs and goals: To be able to comfortably communicate at his age level in German at  school with school mates, follow instructions and develop himself in a regular and healthy pace in the target language to avoid any educational losses at school. 
• Additional information: He goes to a school in German is able to follow the German basic structure for his age level.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
