Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client.

Job Information: 202035 - Individual class for an adult

Availability: Weekdays 5-6 pm (preferably Thursdays and Fridays, when she will be working from home) - From Monday to Wednesday, she will be working from the office from 8 am to 4 pm (She would like to have hybrid lessons, meaning having a few virtual lessons from time to time)
Lesson Frequency: 2x a week, 1-hour lessons
Lesson Location: Market St, Indianapolis, IN 46204
Current target language level: High intermediate
Language spoken at home: Mandarin
Student’s language needs and goals: She wants to improve her presentation skills, strengthen her day-to-day communication, and feel more comfortable and confident when speaking.

Responsibilities
• Design structured business-focused English lessons
• Focus on vocabulary building, pronunciation, and accent improvement
• Incorporate presentation skills and professional communication practice
• Introduce cultural insights relevant to professional environments
• Adapt lessons to the student’s interests and business goals

Qualifications
• To have a native or near-native proficiency in English
• To have a degree in education, modern languages, TESOL, linguistics, or a related field
• To have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English as a second language
