• Student: 1 adult (female) who's recently relocated to Mexico

• Location: Lessons are to be held at or near the student's home close to Centro Santa Fe, Mexico City

• Preferred start date: ASAP

Details

• Availability: Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 - 12:00 h

• Lesson Frequency: Twice per week

• Lesson Duration: 1:30 hours (90 minutes)

• Current language level: Beginner

• Native and other spoken languages: Turkish (native), English

• Student's language needs and goals: Her main goal is to speak clearly in Spanish and understand the language in a short period of time, especially for everyday situations. She enjoys conversation practice during lessons and prefers structured classes that follow a clear lesson plan, while also appreciating game-based learning. She would like to focus on grammar, vocabulary building, listening comprehension, and reading and writing skills, as well as engaging in conversations with native speakers. Additionally, she is interested in practical language for daily life, including doctor visits, shopping, school and family contexts, cooking, vacations, and finances, along with topics such as politeness, safety, holiday celebrations, public transportation, phone calls, making friends, business culture, and strategies to learn more efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
