Luxembourgish Language Teacher in Warken Ettelbruck

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Luxembourgish Language Teacher to provide hybrid (in-person + virtual) lessons to our client.

• Student: 1 adult (male, professional)

• Lesson format: 30 hours in-person + 70 hours virtual

• Location: In-person lessons are to be held at the student's home in Warken Ettelbruck (9019)

• Preferred start date: ASAP

Details

• Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5:00pm - 8:00pm)

• Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week

• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session

• Current Luxembourgish level: Complete beginner

• Native and other spoken languages: Afrikaans, English

• Student’s language needs and goals: "I require to learn the Luxembourgish language in order to get citizenship - the test is called Sproochentest Lëtzebuergesch, I would also like to know the language to communicate and get around easier."

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience

• Experience preparing students for citizenship language exam (Sproochentest Lëtzebuergesch)
