C192692 Position Details

• Student: Individual class for an adult
• Availability: Sun between 9:00 am and 10:30 am and any public holiday if there is one. 
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 1-2x a week
• Lesson Duration: 1 to 1.5 hours each
• Delivery method: Face-to-face lessons
• Lesson location: near Wan Chai, Hong Kong, Unit 1709
• Current target language level: Beginner level
• Student’s language needs and goals: To be able to communicate and connect with her colleagues (Most of her colleagues in her team are Hong Kong people and they speak Cantonese during lunch break or even in work meetings. Student wanted to understand to be a part of them ) to be able to speak Cantonese with people on the street, shop keepers, to buy things, ect.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Design and implement customized curricula in alignment with learners' proficiency levels and objectives.
• Track and assess student progress, guiding them to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with students to ensure a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• To have native or near-native proficiency in the target language, both written and spoken.
• To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field.
• To have at least two years of Cantonese teaching experience
