Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Spanish Language Teacher (must also speak English) to provide in-person lessons to our client.

  • Ref: 189707

  • Student: Child, age 5

  • Location: Querétaro, Mexico – near Verrada de Altozano

  • Preferred start date: ASAP

  • Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

  • Availability: Monday to Friday, afternoons (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm)

  • Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week

  • Lesson Duration: 45 minutes each

  • Current level: Complete beginner

  • Native/other languages: German

  • Goals:

    • Build vocabulary and learn common everyday phrases

    • Gain confidence in making friends and interacting with native Spanish speakers

    • Develop age-appropriate communication skills through engaging activities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fun, interactive, and age-appropriate Spanish lessons

  • Incorporate games, songs, and activities to encourage vocabulary building

  • Use English strategically to support understanding

  • Foster social and conversational skills to help the student adapt locally

  • Monitor progress and share feedback with parents

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish

  • Ability to communicate clearly in English

  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, linguistics, or related field

  • Experience teaching children preferred

  • Ability to design engaging, structured lessons tailored to young learners
