Job Information - Combination of virtual and face-to-face lessons.

• Student: A female adult who has recently relocated to México

• Location: Face-to-face lessons are to be held at the student's premises in Capilla de Piedra, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, México (37774)

• Start date: As soon as the teacher is ready

Details

• Schedule: She needs some flexibility - Around 10:30am or 5-6pm. Teacher can suggest weekdays.

• Lesson Frequency: 3 times per week

• Lesson Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes) per session

• Current Spanish level: Beginner

• Native language: English

• Student’s language needs and goals: Daily basic communication
• Additional Information:
  - She wants to be respectful towards the local people and culture.
  - She used to have sticky notes around her house to remember vocabulary.
  - She likes to learn by doing, so the plan is to meet the teacher in person at least once per week and go somewhere near her place to practice.

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
