• Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person

Details

• Availability:
– Fridays between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm
– Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm
• Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Current English level: Intermediate (teacher to assess)
• Native language: Gujarati

Student’s language needs and goals: He would like to focus on acquiring vocabulary and speaking grammatically correct English. His primary focus is working on pronunciation. He prefers structured lessons that remain adaptive, using each session to identify strengths and weaknesses so the focus can shift to what needs refinement.

Responsibilities

• Design structured yet adaptive intermediate-level ESL lessons
• Assess and monitor the student’s proficiency and progress
• Focus on speaking accuracy, fluency, and pronunciation
• Integrate business English and real-life conversational scenarios
• Provide corrective feedback and strategies for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• To have native or near-native proficiency in English
• To have a degree in education, linguistics, TESOL, or related field
• To have a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching adult ESL learners
• Experience with Business English is a strong asset
• To be comfortable delivering structured, goal-oriented, and engaging lessons is a must
