Job Information:

 In-person French lessons for a family:

• Location: at students’ home:  [3 mins' walk from Language School, 15 Rue des Sophoras, 13320 Bouc-Bel-Air] 
• Availability: Monday 3 pm (back-to-back lessons with spouse and children)
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Duration: 1h
• Language spoken at home: English.

• Level: Novice
• Goal: Everyday French
• Schedule: 2 x week for 1 hour, flexible daytime

• Availability: Daytime 
• Preferred start date:  ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: Twice a week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Current target language level: Can read and write well in French but feels like she could improve her speaking to sound less formal and more natural. Intermediate
• language spoken at home: English.
• Student’s language needs and goals: Needs to focus on conversation. How to have real life conversations with people on the real world. She already has the school formal kind of French. Wants to sound more natural when meeting people and interacting with people around the community.

• Availability : 1 x week for 1 hour :Wednesday afternoon or Monday or Thursday, after school
•  Preferred start date: asap
•  Lesson Frequency: 1x a week
•  Lesson Duration: 1 h
•  Current target language level: beginner
•  language spoken at home: English.
•  Student’s language needs and goals: Needs to focus on conversation and practice to be encouraged to meet friends and interact more in French rather than English.
•  Additional information: Go to bilingual School, but she is fully taught in English.

• Availability : Wednesday afternoon or Monday after school or Thursday after school for girls 
• Preferred start date: asap
• Lesson Frequency: 1x a week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Current target language level: beginner/intermediate
• language spoken at home: English.
• Student’s language needs and goals: Focus what she is doing on her school, so she can feel more comfortable and confident on understanding what is been explained by her teachers in French in her school classes, especially math.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching ESL experience
