Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for Japanese Language Teachers to provide face-to-face customized lessons to our clients in Tokyo, Japan.

• Students: Individual class for an adult
• Availability: erly morning Monday / Friday 8-9am   or Tuesday / Thursday 8-9am (UTC+9)
• Preferred start date:  Sep 14
• Lesson frequency: Twice a week
• Lesson duration: 1 hour
• Student’s location/time zone: 1-9-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-6616
• Relocation date/location: middle June 2026, Tokyo, Japan
• Current language level: Total beginner - he had two hours learning in April.
• Native and other spoken languages: English native, Korean – he lived in Asia for many years and leant Korean, that might be an advantage
• Student’s language needs and goals: 1. Starting from being able to handle everyday situations and see how it goes and see, if possible, to go beyond that, focus on speaking and understanding. 2. He’d like to be able to read, even if he can’t understand or speak it. He learnt from his past experience (when he learnt Korean) that reading can help him learn the language better.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learner's proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• University degree and language teaching experience
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
