Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring English Language Teachers to deliver customized in-person lessons to our clients in Cork, Ireland.

Job Information:

  • Reference: 198456
  • Target language: English
  • Student: Individual class for a gentleman
  • Availability: Weekdays from 8:00 am
  • Location: Eastgate Rd, Kilcoolishal, Cork
  • Preferred start date: ASAP
  • Lesson frequency: 2x a week; 1-hour lessons
  • Current English level: Intermediate 
  • Student's language needs and goals: The student seeks to become fluent in English. He would like a mix of structured and conversational lessons and to work on Business English.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • To have a native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
  • To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
  • To have a minimum of two years of teaching ESL experience
