German Language Teacher in Munich, Germany

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring a German (DaF) Teacher to provide in-person, intensive lessons to our client in Munich.

• Student: 1 adult

• Location: Lessons are to be held somewhere around Levelingstrasse, 81673. The teacher can suggest a place.

• Preferred start date: July 6th, 2026

Details

• Availability: INTENSIVE PROGRAMME - The student is available from July 6th to July 10th, Monday to Friday (timing is flexible).

• Lesson Frequency and Duration: 5 times per week, 6 hours per day (30-hour programme)

• Current language level: Beginner; he lived in Germany for 3 years

• Native and other spoken languages: English (native), Mandarin, Thai, Korean
   
• Student's language needs and goals: Reaching B1 level so as to sit for exam and request permanent residency in roughly a year or so. The exam itself is important, but the more immediate priority is to significantly accelerate his very rudimentary German. Having lived in Germany for almost three years now, it really should be much better than it currently is.

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Spanish

• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of German (DaF) teaching experience
   
• Experience with exam preparation
