Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for a Luxembourgish Language Teacher to provide a combination of in-person & online customized lessons to our clients online.

Job Information:

Online individual lessons Ref 191046

• Face-to-face Luxembourgish lessons for an adult
• Location: Student's home [near 9180 Oberfeulen] & with some virtual lessons, too
• Availability: Weekdays from 9am to 1pm
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour
• Current target language level: Complete beginner
• Language spoken at home: Afrikaans (native), English
• Student’s language needs and goals: Write and speak the language to past the test. She would like to have structured lessons, meaning that mean that she wants to follow a lesson plan that the teacher explains at the start or end of the lesson. The lessons should focus on grammar, biulding vocabulary, listening comprehension tips and strategies, reading and writing, pronunciation and local accents, commom phrases native speakers use every day, conversations with native speakers, pronunciation and local accents,passing a language exam, job-related vocabulary, how to be politeand parenting in the new country, ordering at restaurants, going to the doctor, texting, a little context on popular hobbies or interests in the new country, a guide to shopping, business language and culture, giving compliments, how to learn a language faster, using public transportation, interviews. phone calls, cooking traditional food, and making friends.
• Additional information: Her interests are Baking, hiking, running, documentaries, fashion, shopping. He has not learnt any other than Afrikaans and English.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years experience
