English Teacher (who speaks Serbian language)

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for an English Language Teacher to provide customized virtual lessons to our clients.

Job Information:

Ref #185501: English teacher for 1 adult

• Availability: Flexible
• Preferred start date: As soon as possible
• Lesson Frequency: Twice per week 
• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per lesson
• Student's current location/time zone: Odzaci, Serbia/Central European Time
• Relocation date: Client will relocate to the US in August 2025
• Current target language level: Beginner
• Native language: Serbian
• Student's language needs and goals: To understand and answer questions in everyday conversation. Lessons should focus on building vocabulary, reading and writing, how schools work in the new country, a guide to shopping, how to learn a language faster, phone calls.
• Additional information: Teacher must speak Serbian to communicate with the client.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency levels and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
