What We Offer 
You will have an active and independent role as a language teacher.
Once onboarded, you'll have access to the teachers' platform and receive offers. With the assistance of your Talent Success Coach, you can accept the classes that match your schedule and preferences. You have complete control over your agenda, and we don't require a minimum number of hours weekly or monthly.

• Student: Small group class for a couple
• Availability: Mondays / Wednesdays / and Fridays 3:00 pm (US, Eastern Time Zone)
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
• Lesson Duration: 30-60 minutes for each session
• Student’s location/time zone: US, Eastern Time Zone
• Current target language level:  Beginner level
• Student’s language needs and goals: They like to be able to have basic conversations, greetings, ordering at restaurants, and words related to fashion, as spouse is a designer at Burton. Learning snowboarding words and words around their industry, know how to interact with drivers for transport, have language around asking about if places are wheelchair accessible, basic left right / words like that that could be helpful to know when snowboarding with Japanese people. How to ask if they can bring their dog, how to change websites from Japanese to English (looking for the right words in Japanese to do this).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Design and implement customized curricula in alignment with learners' proficiency levels and objectives.
• Track and assess student progress, guiding them to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with students, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in the target language, both written and spoken.
• A degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field.
• At least two years of Japanese language teaching experience
