Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a German Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Berlin, Germany.

Job Information:

C194978: Face-to-face - Adult

• In-Person class, 1 Adult
• Class Location: Close to U-Bahn U6 Kochstrasse OR the student can meet the teacher somewhere in the city
• Availability: Tuesday - Friday after 17.30; Saturday afternoon and evening
• Lesson frequency: 1 or 2 lessons per week; 1- hour (60 min) lessons
• Current target language level: Beginner
• Native and other spoken languages: Native English
• Language needs and goals: The student would like to be able to hold regular conversations with native speakers, make friends, and navigate daily life in Germany with confidence. The student would like to start with the basics, understanding how the language works, pronunciation, etc., and develop communicative competence. 

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the German language
• Degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of German language teaching experience
