Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for French Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons for our clients in Bouc-Bel-Air, France

Job Information:

Ref 172251/2/4/6: In-person French lessons for a family

Location: at students’ home [Boulevard de Valcros, 13320 Bouc-Bel-Air]
Availability: Monday 3 pm (back-to-back lessons with spouse and children)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson Frequency: 1x a week
Lesson Duration: 1h
Language spoken at home: English.

Ref 172251: Adult

Current target language level: Novice
Student’s language needs and goals: Focus on conversation to get to a basic interaction level. Day-to-day language and vocabulary.

Ref 172252: Adult

Current target language level: Can read and write well in French but feels like she could improve her speaking to sound less formal and more natural.
Student’s language needs and goals: Needs to focus on conversation. How to have real-life conversations with people in the real world. She already has the school formal kind of French. Wants to sound more natural when meeting people and interacting with people around the community.

Current target language level: High beginner
Student’s language needs and goals: Needs to focus on conversation and practice to be encouraged to meet friends and interact more in French rather than English.
Additional information: She is in a bilingual School, but she is fully taught in English.

Ref 172256: 10-years-old

Current target language level: High Novice
Student’s language needs and goals: Focus what she is doing on her school, so she can feel more comfortable and confident on understanding what is been explained by her teachers in French in her school classes, especially math.
Additional information: bilingual school. she is taught half a week in English and half a week in French.

Responsibilities:

Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of teaching ESL experience
